Fernando is a Portuguese-Brazilian multidisciplinary artist based in Madrid, Spain. He has directed and created several works that explore different aspects of physical theater, such as Alvorada (expressive masks), Pequeño Mundo (larval masks), Los Ladrones del Puerto (Commedia dell'Arte), Monotrux (Clown), Diario de un Pájaro (Human Comedy), among others. Fernando creates masks in leather and other materials for several schools and theater companies around the world. He also offers workshops on mask pedagogy and mask-making laboratories at many institutions in Europe and America.
